Last December 11, 2014 , the franchise between

 Kubot and The Aswang Chronicles was formally inked with the

 contract signing of Reality Entertainment, GMA Films and Agosto Dos.

Aside from being part of a franchise, Kubot: The Aswang Chronicles 

also marks the comeback of GMA Films, being one of the film's co-producers with 

Reality Entertainment and Agostos Dos.

KUBOT picks up where it ended in TIKTIK which was at the place called Pulupandan where the whole massacre happened. The protagonist leave the place thinking that all is well until they were ambushed on the way to Manila.
